January Ipsy Glam Bag

Good morning my loves! I wanted to try something new today. I've never been hugely into makeup, but I had heard about Ipsy and my sisters had subscribed to it so I wanted to try it. If you don't know what it is, Ipsy is a subscription service where you pay $10 a month and you get 5 makeup items and a new bag each month. I've gotten three of them so far. I'm going to show you what I got in my January bag, and if you want I can go over my future bags as well.

This month, I got another eyeliner. They like giving me eyeliners. This one is the Balm Cosmetics Mr. Write (now) and is mechanical (so it twists) and looks like it's a brown color. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like it'll work just fine. This is a $17 item from the company.

The next thing I got was an eyeshadow pallet. It's the mesmerizing mineral duo in lavender bloom from pixi by petra. It's cute, and I love the colors! This is a $6 item from the company.

I also got a lip scrub. The hanalei sugar lip scrub. I haven't used it, but it smells amazing. It feels rough (obviously) but also like it might moisturize while it scrubs. I don't know, but I'm excited to try it because I have ridiculously chapped lips. Especially in the winter! This is a $20 item from the company.

I also got a Burt's Bees cleansing oil. I'm not entirely sure what it's for, I'll have to look into that, but it says it's for normal to dry skin and has coconut and argan oils. I know that I like Burt's Bees, they're lip balm (basically chapstick) is amazing so I'm pretty sure once I figure out what it's for, I'm going to love it. This is a $16 item from the company for a 6 oz bottle. The one I got is a 1 oz bottle, so it would be approximately $2.67.

And finally, last but not least, I got a Skone smudger brush. I don't recognize the brand, but I'm not into makeup as much as I could be. I'm also not positive what I'll use it for, but I know that I want to learn. This brush is cute, I like the logo for the brand and it's almost a rose gold. I'm not a fan of yellow gold, so that's good. This is a $15 item from the company.

That's my January glam bag. Let me know if you want to see February and/or November and December. I really like these bags. I've gotten some amazing brands and it is well worth the $10 a month because it is always a great deal. The total amount I would have spent (before tax and any shipping) is $74 for all of these items! I only paid $10! (I would have to buy the 6oz bottle of the oil so I included the full price.)
