Weekly Weigh In | Week 4

Gah! Oops! I totally forgot to weigh in this week! As I'm not sure what my weight is, I'm not going to assume anything and I'm just going to say I promise to do better.

Because I only work 16 hours a week, I don't make a lot of money. Because I don't make a lot of money, I get food stamps. I used to be ashamed to admit that. I'm still not proud of it, but I'm no longer ashamed of my status.

The reason I'm talking about this isn't to get sympathy. Please, do not pity me! God that would make me feel terrible. No, I want to share that because it's the reason I haven't made much progress lately. We spent our food money stupidly last month. So, this month, Penguin and I are going to sit down and meal plan. We're going to plan breakfast and dinner for all 31 days of January. We've already decided lunch will either be PBJ or left overs. No need to spend extra money on lunches when we can just make extra food for dinner to have for lunch.

I will be back on track with a weigh in tomorrow! Promise!
