ColourPop & Sephora Haul

I think it's kind of funny that I just posted about possibly doing a no spend month and now I'm posting a haul. But, in all fairness, I bought the stuff before I posted. Honestly this haul and a few other purchases are kinda why I want to do a no spend. Let's jump into it!

I want to start with ColourPop because there's more from there. I got an email that their special for the Puppy Love and Cat Nap shadows were going to be done soon and I had wanted to buy them for a while. They are donating all of the proceeds from those shadows to an animal shelter nearby their headquarters. While I was on the site I found some other items I wanted as well. Swatches below.

Super Shock Shadows in Cat Nap and Puppy Love (left to right) - $5

I love their super shock shadows. The colors are always gorgeous and they are so creamy! These are both shimmery, but Cat Nap definitely has more shine.

ColourPop X Hello Kitty Ultra Glossy Lip in Supercute - $6 ($4.80 on sale for 20% off!)

I wanted to try their glosses for a while so I bought one. I've used their ultra satin lips and they're a bit dry. I didn't have that problem with the gloss, which was expected. It also isn't tacky/sticky at all. It's a cute, sheer color and I love the lid! It's got Hello Kitty's hair bows etched into it!

Lippie Stix in Wet and Hype Girl - $5

I wanted to try their lippie stix too. I was originally only going to get Hype Girl because I'm more of a nudes kind of girl, but then I saw Wet and decided to grab that one too. I've tried Hype Girl and I think you need to use a balm under it because it was a bit dry. The color lasted though and looked really cute!

Pressed Powder in Pinky Promise, Bel Air, Pep Talk and Time Out - $5

They came out with these a little while ago and I was hesitant to try them. Not because I thought the colors would be bad or anything, but just because I don't like having random eye shadow pans lying around and keeping the packaging is a pain too. But they were doing a thing where if you got four of the pressed shadows you got a free palette too so I went for it. I love these colors and I've already used most of them. I like how Pinky Promise goes with Cat Nap and I like Bel Air in the crease. I'm not great at doing makeup, but I think it came out looking nice and I did get some compliments which is always good!

ColourPop Empty Palette - Free with purchase of four pressed shadows

I want to preface this by saying I'm not sure how long they're doing the free palette with purchase thing. I deleted the email and I don't see it advertised on their website. That said, you can buy two reusable palettes and one that doesn't look reusable. I like it and am glad to have it.

Some of these swatches are terrible and I'm sorry! But from left to right it's the super shock shadows with Cat Nap on top and Puppy Love on the bottom, lippie stix with Hype Girl on top and Wet on bottom, Supercute gloss and the pressed shadows with Bel Air on top, Pep Talk and Time Out in the middle (I really can't remember which is which and probably labeled them wrong above...) and Pinky Promise on the bottom. I think my favorite is Pinky Promise and Supercute.

Then I also got a perfume from Sephora. I got a sample of it in one of my Play! boxes and fell in love. When my sister got me another sample of it I broke down and paid the $25 for the 0.34oz bottle. I don't regret it. I also got six samples with my purchase!

CLEAN Reserve Warm Cotton - $25 for 0.34oz or $95 for 3.4oz

I LOVE this scent! It's a very clean smell, which makes sense given the brand name. It smells like fresh, clean laundry right out of the dryer. And when it mixes with my natural scent it becomes a bit musky. I'm not a fan of overly floral scents and this is perfect! The website says it has notes of Aldehydic Ginger, Watery Ozonic, Mint Green, Pepper Floral Accord, Musk, Incense, and Vetiver.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Acrylip - samples of 202, 401 and 501

I haven't tried these yet, mostly because of the awkward packaging. But I think I'm going to like 202 and maybe 401. But 501 looks so dark and vampy and I think it's too bold for me. I'll try it, but I don't know. I'm not sure I'll buy them even if I do like them, but free samples are always fun!

Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick - samples of 772 classic matte, 136 delicate matte, 999 matte, and 787 exuberant matte

Again, I haven't tried this because of the packaging. I do like that this one came with an applicator brush though. This one has more colors in my safe zone, but the bottom row still seems a bit too risky for me. I don't know if it's worth $35 for one lipstick though!

Dr. Brandt Skincare needles no more 3-D LIP PLUMPfix - sample

This is interesting, but I'm not sure about it. I guess it's supposed to plum your lips and help with dryness. It's really weird because the sample has two separate foils but the full size looks like all one product. It's got a 3/5 rating and it's $39 so I'll probably never buy it. But Dr. Brandt is a good enough brand that I figured why not?

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Perfecting Wand - sample

This I have tried. I think you're supposed to leave the glossy stuff on your lips but I wiped it off. Unfortunately even though there was enough glossy stuff for more than one use, the way it was packaged left me no way to close it so I had to throw that away. However, I kept the little wand and plan to reuse that. I liked the wand and it definitely helped my lips. I might actually buy this! The full size is $24, which isn't that bad.

tarte Tarteguard 20 Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen - sample

There are two links there. The first is the full size product. The second is for the (currently sold out) sample that apparently you can buy? Or at least add to your basket. I haven't tried it yet, all I know is it comes with an inner foil seal.

That's my haul! I didn't spend a whole lot of money, but I'm glad I got what I did. I actually rarely buy things like makeup and perfume, so splurging a little on myself felt nice. How do you guys like these haul posts? I usually see them as videos on YouTube, but my life is far too much of a mess to try to do this on camera! It's much easier to write posts at my desk on the weekend while answering calls than it is to find time to film something. Editing would be easy, I could do it at work, but filming is so much harder!

Have you ever used any of these products? I'm kind of excited to try the lip samples, especially the ones from Dior.
